The territory of Atina also includes the villages of:

Agnerone, Cancello, Capo di China, Case di Melfa, Casino Pica, Colle Alto, Duca, I Caira, Le Sode, Mola di Capitolo, Nardelli, Pie’ della Piagge, Pozzello, Residence Valcomino, Rosanisco, Sabina, San Lorenzo, San Michele, Sangalione, Settignano, Sode and Spineto.

Currently Atina has a population of approximately 4500 people and the local inhabitants are known as Atinati. Many local people still speak in the Atinese dialect. The local economy is mainly based on agriculture however in recent years, due to its beautiful location within the Val di Comino  a new industry of culture and tourism is developing in the area.
