Atina in Frosinone Italy

The Town Library of Atina

The Municipal Library of Atina was founded in 1978.  Originally it was housed in the Palazzo Ducale, but following the earthquake of 1984 it was moved to a former school building founded by Giuseppe Visocchi.  The library holds over 17,000 volumes and is very well organized with large and bright reading rooms. The library has an excellent Local History department which contains a huge archive photos of local interest, created over many years by Luciano Caira.  Both the Library and the Archaeological Museum are located within the same building.
