Church of San Nicola di Bari
The ancient Church of San Nicola di Bari was probably built in the 12th century. The interior is decorated with some notable Medieval frescoes depicting country scenes and saints. San Nicola is the patron saint of Belmonte Castello.

Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo
The Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo dates from the Middle Ages, but was rebuilt in the 16th century and renovated several times over the years. It has an 18th century polychrome marble altar, some 17th century paintings and a work by Francesco Basile depicting the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Heaven (1795).

La Chiesa del Carmine
La Chiesa del Carmine was built in the 16th century and restored in the 17th century. It has a fresco of San Francesco of Paola (1828) by the artist A. Onterrado and a 17th century painting of the Madonna del Carmine.

Church of Santa Benedetto de Chio
The remains of the Church of San Benedetto de Chio can be found in the San Venditto district. This was an ancient Benedictine monastery which belonged to Monte Cassino.
